hey dude, usually tips comes to you too late. a savvy investor always needs to be aware of the macroeconomics, den the 'tips' will naturally come your way.

unlike IM, stocks investment is more like control of your mentality. sometimes the strategies are really simple, but it's the discipline that makes it really hard to follow.

how i know? cos i've lost my fair share to the market due to my lack of discipline.

quoting SGX, an investment in education ALWAYS pays the best returns.

Hi all,

I'm sorry if post something not related here.

I'm a 19-years old boy, working as software engineer now. I'm interested in doing small investment. However, I don't really understand about investment right now.

Could anyone please give me suggestion how to start investing, maybe a beginner book to help me to understand world of investment.

Thanks,
Fedry

There are many forums out there on investment already. I would feel that this forum should focus on what it's best in. Internet Marketing.

Currently, I'm in the following forums.
SGFunds.com - The Singapore Premiere Unit Trust Community
ShareJunction - FREE Singapore Stocks And Finance Portal
Gold Club Asia Forums - Powered by vBulletin
WallStraits.com

Just to clarify, SGFunds does not focus solely on Unit Trusts. In fact it covers so much more - Financial Planning, Insurance, Stocks, Market Analysis and reports. I find that their topics and post are of much better quality because the core group are licensed IFA, insurance agents and stock investors. These people are not afraid to hide their job title or secretive on their investment strategy. They are most willing to share their knowledge and expertise for free.
